The Danes, The Beer, The Strike

The Danes take their luxury seriously. They enjoy 6week vacations. When you stop by to stay hi you are treated to cookies and strong coffee. You must , must sit and have a conversation. Any other parting is considered a insult. The Danes are considered the happiest people in the world. That was before Carlsberg brewer decided to tighten laid back rules on workplace drinking. Carlsberg would no longer tolerate workers drinking while working. The workers were allowed to have a few beers during their lunch hour or breaks. As a result 800 workers are striking.
I join my fellow Danes in their plight. How much more can be taken away??? Next thing you know they will cut hours, wages, vacation pay, health insurance. They will have them work 12hrs aday and pay them straight time. They will ask for more and more and once these workers deliver they will ship the manufacture to China. They will lose their jobs and houses. Families will be torn apart. Kids will move and lose their place in school. Schools will be broke and education will fail. During this time big business will make awful decisions and not share that the news with their investors. These workers will lose out again and bail the very company out that started this whole process of loss.
So stand strong, workers unite and never forget its the American....Opps, I mean the Danish way.
