Last Thursday there was a soccer game. It was the game to end all games. I was able to witness the fighting power of the human , the majestic and graceful moves of the players. The roar of the crowd. The game between the Yellow Jackets and the Pickles is a game that will go down in history. Sawyer would bravely follow his team around. Looking at his moves in the shadows of the day. He reminded me of Robin Williams impersonation of the Brazilian soccer player. He had the fancy footwork, the high steps, the wiggle of the hips....but did he have the ball? Lead into battle by coach Parker he set his standards high. " Find your goal and kick the ball." But. Sawyer had a different game in mind. He wanted a game full of style and showed his public the moves without necessarily kicking the ball. The game was called a "tie". Our weary warriors given a juice box and sent home to their adoring fans.
