This is Sawyer

This is my baby. My baby turns 6yrs old today. My love child. The only one of my three that we didn't have to work for. He is my surprise. Sawyer came to us during a incredibly dark time in our lives. My Dad was dieing of Pancreatic Cancer. I didn't have time to dwell on my swollen belly. I didn't think about this gift growing inside me. When my water broke 6yrs ago everyone seemed surprised. I think we all forgot I was pregnant. My father made it to see his third grandson born. Dad was gaunt, weak and very pale. He worried about me as I started to shake and I worried about my dear Dad . But when Sawyer was born there was new life. I believe he was born with allot of my Dads traits. In the three months that followed Sawyer was the one who saved us. This little baby and all his warmth, provided the love that somehow allowed us to breath. Sawyer proves to be the child that brings the smile to our faces. He is my snuggle, my smiler and my laughter. Happy Birthday dear one.
