MY FAVORITE DAY
Thanks for your comments and support of this blog. I am starting to figure things out....Slowly. Which I have discovered is my pace on most things in regards to learning. Me not to smart . Today I received a break, a vacation, a dose of Prozac for those Mom moments. Today is my favorite day of 2009s summer. Today was beautiful. Not to hot, not to cold, perfect wind. There were even clouds....Ok, ok,ok. Just know it was a beautiful day. Tucker and Sawyer had their first official horseback riding lessons. My mom came along and it was a blast to have her there. "Sparky " was home sleeping off the night shift woe's. ( that's for another time.) The day would of been fantastic if he was here. The lesson was for Tucker but we allowed Sawyer to try it. And Sawyer was great....but, Tucker had the seat. He has the gift as we say in the horsey world. He did his Mom proud. God help me I may become a horse show mom. It was a blast to watch my boys ride around.
On the way home we stopped to pick blueberries. I will never get over how small this world can be and how we cross paths . How we even got on the topic with this grandmother who runs the blueberry field I will never know. She needed to talk. Her granddaughter just had surgery for a brain tumor. The tumor started growing after lying 5 yrs stable. Lets just say we had a moment where we both understood each others world.
I have 7pounds of blueberries on my kitchen counter. Horses and blueberries, life doesn't get any better.
