COMEDIC RELIEF
Never turn on the news first thing in the morning. Something will hit you. I know better. My morning was sad. Finding out Edward Kennedy had passed away did make me cry.Not to mention the ending of a era but also that he died of a brain tumor. I know that Coopers brain tumor is different then Mr. Kennedy's. I know Mr. Kennedy was 77yrs old. But the brain tumor is a common thread that unites two different fabrics. Wow..that's deep. Maybe, I can make it as a writer??? The truth is that parents of kiddos with a illness such as this worry constantly. We always wait for the other shoe to drop. Always look over our shoulder. We watch our children to be sure we don't miss a sign,The signs are always there. A headache, slow blinks, seizures, and on and on. So on this sad day I reluctantly took the boys to the library and then drove out to buy fresh corn. On the way home a big, bad Ewing crawled out of the corn and made his way toward the boys.I was stopped at the light when total mayhem broke out. My 3 boys were screaming, jumping up and down and in general freaking out over the Ewing. I sat there and laughed till I cryed. These boys need some country. But I am glad they are there for comedic relief.
